IDEAL HO..E
installation

2000

IDEAL HO.E compares various interpretations of the 2 words HOME and HOLE.
A blank book is placed on a wooden lectern. Each page is stamped randomly with IDEAL HO.E and
H for ................ O for ................... for ................. E for ................

The public is invited to write, draw, collage, scribble, their interpretation of an IDEAL HOME and an IDEAL HOLE, while comparing their own to others previously inscribed and to mine displayed on a gigantic diagram mounted on the wall.

The comments varies from philosophical to poetic to comic to absurd to obscene to silly…

Exhibited in October 2000 at the Assembly in London, with catalogue
