Klangraum 2025

Timeless songs for our times is a cycle of 12 songs without words for voice(s) alone or accompanied by instrument(s), premiered during the 2^nd week of Klangraum 2025, being played everyday by various configuration of the wandelweiser ensemble and other guests, in a circle formation. Each day we concentrated on a new song and performed it twice.

These songs are little improvisations that came out of my body during daily practice in summer 2024, when I was in the shadowland. They practically wrote themselves then waited for my attention.  They are one of the few gifts that came out of those dark times.
