Voices are softly coming home, tracking songlines that woke me out of (the trance of) overwhelm.

Allowing the voice to vibrate the way it knows how, to calm the complications of simply living,
To call a possible future into being. (score extract)

We performed Timeless song 1

Timeless songs for our times is a cycle of 12 songs without words for voice(s) alone or accompanied by instrument(s), premiered during the 2nd week of Klangraum 2025.  These songs are little improvisations that came out of my body during daily practice in summer 2024, when I was in the shadowland. They practically wrote themselves then waited for my attention.  They are one of the few gifts that came out of those dark times.
