Free and structured improvisation around my vocal repertoire of extended human inarticulation and non-verbal sounds and its graphic scoring system. I sometimes uses live digital processing. Huurinainen’s unconventional guitar playing creates in turns brief melodies, looped rhythms odd sounds noises and atmospheres.
Voice and guitar respond to or (mis) lead one another, but always react in the moment, resulting in an hypnotic shared experience between audience and performers.

VALTER is a transformative software designed for my particular ways with voice and spoken words programmed in Max MSP and Jitter by Sebastian Lexer with financial support from UCA research fund.
Between 2006 and 2008, Bouche Bee performed in the UK, France, Austria, and New York, sometimes alone sometimes in dialogue with VINST. Bouche Bée [boosh bay]
(a French phrase that translates as “open-mouthed, gaping, gawping) was formed in 2005 as the duo of Emmanuelle Waeckerlé on voice and Petri Huurinainen on guitar. In 2015, the pair met saxophonist John Eyles when they were all involved in a performance of Cornelius Cardew’s The Great Learning at Union Chapel in Islington in 2015. The three began playing together, including at Eddie Prévost’s Friday evening workshops, leading to the saxophonist joining Bouche Bée for a while, the three playing their first trio gig in June 2017.
