A drawing installation
Life as an endless fall. Life as learning to fall gracefully.
Human figures are drawn directly onto the gallery walls from ceiling to floor. Each one is in a different state of imbalance.
The unlikely actors of my metaphor are footballers taken from the sport pages of the Evening standard; captured by the camera in mid air, in the process of falling. Isolated from their original context the grace of their poses is more reminiscent of classical ballet than football.
