The destination is the journey (2012 – ongoing) is a series of travel drawings made from looking out of train windows, attempting to commit to paper the rolling landscape. As such they constitute a sort of animation in reverse. This is the first time 4 of them have been exhibited.

‘Cycles and Sequences: Research Currents in Animation’ is an exhibition and a series of events on expanded animation curated by Vicky Smith. It includes a range of interdisciplinary approaches to animation by staff and PhD students at UCA ranging from installation, sequential drawings, animated documentary, experimental CGI, AI, animation machines and live 16mm performances.
