VINST @ expo 966
dvd - 5.11 mins

VINST is a highly sensitive vocal instrument consisting of my body image displaying points of sonic sensitivity that can be triggered and played by the viewer. The sounds are pre- or non-linguistic, and are (usually) somewhat anatomically appropriate.
In this video various musicians taking part in Expo 966 are recorded playing this peculiar virtual and vocal instrument.

EXPO966 is Sonic art network annual exhibition/festival which took place in June 2005 in Scarborough.

Project funded by Arts Council London and Surrey Institute of Art and Design
