The ritual of the social visit is stripped down to its bare minimum; the conventional dialogue that takes place when two human beings meet. These lines are repeated endlessly by the performer who becomes both the visitor and the visited. In this equation the viewer also takes on the role a visitor; but one who cannot speak, because his/her lines have already been spoken.
