streamed concert series

A new concert series of contemporary experimental music curated in collaboration with Harrey Whalley ((Music Composition and Technology at UCA Farnham), around a multidisciplinary approach to experimental music and our common research and interest in extended, textual, visual, gestural and object scores.

Four sets of concerts per year around a guest composer, taking place in Farnham and in London at Iklectik, performed by musicians and performers drawn from the London experimental music scene as well as students, researchers and members of the Audio Research Cluster at UCA Farnham. The Farnham concert is streamed live as well as relayed to other part of the campus or other campuses.

For the first year we invited Gildas Quartet (31st October 2019, UK), Marcus Kaiser (1st/2nd May 2019, Germany), Stefan Thut (10th 11th April 2019, Switzerland) Jessica Aslan and Emma Lloyd (13th March 2019, UK).

For the second year we are inviting Greg Caffery (April 2020, Ireland), Marie Cecile Reber (fEBRUARY 2020, CH) (CH) and James Saunders & Tim Parkinson, (May 2020, UK)

A collaboration between bookRoom and the Audio Research Cluster at UCA Farnham. The project is supported by UCA research fund, Tom Gillies, Bradley McGinty and Lisa Moore for the live streaming and recording.
