This installation represents my first experiment in vocal yet non verbal communication. I have created a simple set up where one may have a very private experience of the voice via headphones. SILENCIO the CD contains various sonic works all created using my limited vocabulary of vocal yet non verbal sounds; the first track (mainly verbal) eases the way into the rest of the work while revealing some of the processes involved.

This particular selection has been designed to have a soothing and relaxing effect. Hence the title. Some of the mixes have been made in collaboration with sound artist Andy coupe. The graphic representation of my vocabulary is there to be referred to, framed and hung on an adjacent wall. Alongside an A4 text image construction providing some basic instructions and the running order of the tracks. Developed with the financial assistance of London Arts
